Chronological CV: this type outlines work experience and qualifications. It is applicable for employees who are in progressive career levels without changing their work industry.

Skills-based CV: as it may tell from its name, this CV focuses on skills and personal traits. It is applicable for skills-based jobs, or for applicants who didn't have a long term work experience.

Combined CV: this one combines both chronological and functional CVs. This type is used to highlight both skills and work experience together. It is applicable for managerial and executive positions by very experienced professionals.
